History of Work: Integrated Artists PaintingsThis term 4 project integrates the artwork of two famous artists. Students choose two contrasting styles of work and put them in the same painting together, aiming for an articulated likeness of both pieces composed in an innovative way.
Check out the pdf below to see how former students carried out this engaging project. How many artists' work do you recognize? Can you name them?

"Everyday Angels" Paintings
"EVERYDAY ANGELS" painting project.
Students explored people (living or passed) in their own lives with whom they have been connected in a spiritual way. For some this is a grandparent, a prophet, a saint, Jesus, God, etc. Students made portraits of themselves with their angel having everyday experiences together. For example, a painting of the student with their grandpa passed away (sharing an ice cream)…or the student and Jesus (working in the garden). Enjoy the process! |
Weekly Sketchbook Projects
Each week students are assigned a sketchbook assignment to complete. These projects are meant to challenge the students artistically and conceptually as they interpret the assignment in their own way. Here are just a few examples. Enjoy!
